GTA - VIA ALPINA

The GTA is a fascinating trek along the mountains of Piedmont; from Colle di Tenda, the last part of the trail runs from the Alps to the sea.
Via Alpina is a fascinating European project with 5 tracks, for a total of 5000 km in length and 342 daily stages, along all the Alps, from Trieste to Monaco-Montecarlo.

THE OLD MILITARY ROUTE

The high salt route (also called Limone-Monesi or Via Marenca) is an old 63 km road along the Italian-French border. The most fascinating section is from Colla Melosa to the crossroads of Colle di Tenda, at an average altitude above 2000 meters, recently reopened to traffic with rules and toll.

BY MOUNTAIN BIKE

Anyone who loves mountain biking and is in good physical condition can take the road from Colle di Tenda to the Vallee des Merveilles or the hinterland of Ventimiglia. You need a couple of days to get from the Alps to the sea. Limone is located along the international Turin-Nice railway line.

WELLNESS

Three national or regional parks surround the Colle di Tenda area, providing breathtaking views, relaxing walks and interesting sites rich in history.
